When we buy a ticket to a movie theater or an amusement park, part of the payment includes the amusement tax levied according to relevant laws and regulations. These taxes are paid by users and filed by amusement businesses. Educational, cultural or public welfare activities can be exempt from amusement tax when they meet certain requirements of the tax act.
